Waray-waray or Samareño language is basically related to Hiligaynon and Cebuano; spoken in Northern Leyte and Samar.
*Bantayanon (bfx) which is a language in the Northern most of Cebu Province is under a dispute whether it is a Hiligaynon dialect or a Cebuano dialect or more over a Waray-waray dialect. Basically Bantayan Island and its smaller islands are part of the Cebu Province and uses Cebuano language in formal writing and speaking, hence it is considered a Cebuano dialect. People living in that area uses Cebuano, Waray-waray, Hiligaynon, Masbateño because they are not the original inhabitants. They came from diffirent part of the Visayas and Mindanao.
